“Jacob Boehme is a Melbourne based, a descendant of the Narangga/Kaurna nations of South Australia. A trained dancer, puppeteer and choreographer, Jacob has had a long history of working in and with remote communities across Australia and the Torres Strait producing dance and visual theatre.
Adapted Aunty Carolyn Brigg’s story, Jacob created a Lu’arn’s journey down the Birrarung, mesmerised by a black feather being carried by the wind. He is met by black swans at Western Port Bay and follows their migration to Wilson’s Promontory where he becomes a spirit and keeper of Men’s Lore.”
